MIA to FLL hotel

There are many threads about FLL to MIA but I am looking to go from MIA up to an LL hotel at 9:30pm! Does anyone have something other than the shared shuttle?

You have options:

• Shared shuttles: American Shuttle has the MIA concession -- you can get a quote and make reservations on-line. Check FLL based QLS and MJS and others.
  
• One way car rental from MIA to FLL is likely your cheapest and best option -- allowing you to do some last minute shopping before you drop th e car and check in for your cruise.
  
• Taxi: about $80-85+ depending upon where your hotel is located
  
• Car/limo service: about the same as a cab, but a much nicer ride - Larry's Limos is often suggested for Miami service
  
• Stay near MIA (lots of hotels with free MIA airport shuttles) and then make your way to PE the next day -- you could even ride the cruiseline transfer bus this way.
  
• Tri-Rail is not an option I would suggest at 9:30 PM -- but the next day it could work; ride from the MIA station to the FLL station and then cab to PE.
