mcgluro1 Posted July 21, 2005 #82 Share Posted July 21, 2005 Hi WJTERRY - - Today my wife and I along with another couple booked the 9/2006 Hawaii cruise! Rooms 9242 & 9244. We're very excited!!!! I have to admit it was depressing to see how many days are left on your countdown clock for the Hawaii cruise but then I remembered that we're cruising through the Panama Canal on the Coral Princess this October. 8) I hope to talk to you in the future. iluv2bcruising Posted July 21, 2005 #85 Share Posted July 21, 2005 Voyager 4/2005 - Adjoining Rooms 9530-9532 This picture is taken from the balcony of 9530 looking towards our friend's balcony of 9528. Not sure what that little room is called that you see, but just make sure you are appropriately dressed when on the balcony!!! We only saw the Captain once standing there, but most mornings there was always one or two RCCL mates perched with binoculars.....sometimes we would get a friendly wave if we looked at him at the same time he was looking at us! I can only imagine the colorful stories they have to tell!

Rob  OK please explain how you managed to "forget" about a booked cruise. I'm not going again until May 2006, but if I book another I don't think I'd forget one . curlyd Posted July 22, 2005 #95 Share Posted July 22, 2005 Empress of the Seas - #8000 - forward with a small but almost unkown deck outside the window. Too bad window doesn't open so I could crawl out. However it is but a brief walk a few small steps and even though I won't have my own balcony I will be able to sit outside and enjoy my morning coffee and later the evening stars. I changed our cabin after reading "bibbs" recommendation and talking to friends. We can't wait! But I am a bit concerned - all of the JS are booked for our cruise ( I know there aren't that many) yet I don't see one post here for the Empress! People seem to like it but I don't see anyone cruising on it.

Rare Host Kat Posted July 22, 2005 #97 Share Posted July 22, 2005 Love this thread! Can't remember any of my previous staterooms, just remember that I had wonderful cruises! Anyone have pics of Rhapsody's JS 8028, pretty please? Would love to see them! Also, do the lifeboats below spoil the view when looking straight down at the water?
