ValerieJo Posted February 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2014 I want to book an excursion once I get on board as I want to use OBC. What are the chances of excursions selling out? Do most excursions typically sell out beforehand or are there usually spots available? What has your experience been waiting to book on board? leaveitallbehind Posted February 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2014 They usually hold slots open for on board bookings. I would suggest going fairly early on the first day to the shore excursions desk as there is likely to be line of other passengers with the same idea. The remaining slots will usually book up fairly quickly.
Rare markeb Posted February 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Totally depends on the excursion. If they can, they'll add more (for instance, more buses) to a very popular itinerary. But, if it's a catamaran tour to an out of the way island, they have as many slots as the catamaran can seat, and that's probably it.
