Pacific Jewel J408 - 20 Feb to Moreton Island

Just read that the departure time for this cruise has changed. It is now a 10PM departure with boarding starting at 7PM. Was initially a 4PM departure.

 

I wonder how this will impact on people who had made travel arrangements for the original boarding time of 1PM. Could be a lot of people hanging around White Elephant with not much to do and so much time.:mad::eek:

Did they give any reason for the change?

I have never heard of 7pm boarding.

Does that mean you miss out on a dinner?

Is there a refund because of this?

They will be starting a cruise with very hungry and annoyed passengers.:eek:

No email sent yet. Noticed when I checked my eticket.

Received email from P&O today. The boarding time is still from 1300, error in eTicket.

 

Departure is 2200 to allow for "some routine maintenance that can be carried out more efficiently". The sail-away should go off a treat.:D

 

No impact on arrival at Moreton Island.

Was it Pacific Jewel in Sydney today ? My mum lives at Manly and noted that whichever ship was due in today, was floundering just inside Sydney heads at 9am, and required the assistance of several tugs. I dare say today's departure will be delayed.

Yes it is Pacific Jewel . She is at the OPT today.

Both her and Pacific Dawn seem to need assistance when manouvering.
