RCCL have some great deals out of USA

Recommended Posts

And now I am kicking myself for booking Carnival USA so early:(

I can now get an RCI Navigator of the seas (same class as VOS) out of Galveston Texas for much cheaper than I booked Carnival Dream out of NOLA. when I booked a few months ago Carnival was way cheaper than RCI? must be due to the recent RCI Nuro outbreak and customer panic?

And yet again I have booked a minority category:rolleyes: lol which means price drops on Carnival will be irrelevant to me as my category will always be in demand as its better than the category above the one I chose!

Sometimes a little cruise knowledge and experience can work against you, hip pocket speaking:(

Did you book a refundable rate? Or is it an Early saver?

Early saver:(

But I suppose New Orleans is a much better port given its quite expensive to get from Houston to Galveston.

Mind you I got 50% reduced deposit on Carnival so not much of a loss If I decide to switch cruises.

The Dream is a big ship and I have cruised Voyager class plus I have already booked another VOS cruise so perhaps I will just stick with the Dream.
