Cachecruiser Posted February 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2014 Hello, we booked cabin #7206 on the Freedom of the Seas. The cabin is in the front corner of the ship and is shaped like a triangle. Unfortunately I can't find any photos or more detailed description of this cabin. It would be very nice to give me more informations (location, size, shape, noise, porthole, furniture arrangement, ... etc.) and maybe some photos of this cabin. What's the difference between this cabin and any other ocean view cabins? Thank you very much in advance. :)

dorisis Posted July 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2014 It is a slightly different shape than other cabins and we have found that cabins way up at the bow are rockier than those midship or aft. They can be noisey if seas are rough.

leaveitallbehind Posted February 18, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2017 It is a slightly different shape than other cabins and we have found that cabins way up at the bow are rockier than those midship or aft. They can be noisey if seas are rough. Agree that bow locations will feel the sea motion more than other locations, but in what way are they more noisy? We have stayed in staterooms there and never encountered any additional noise from those locations. In particular on Jewel of the Seas we were in a forward family stateroom (very similar location as that described by the OP) in 25-30 foot head in waves one night and had no additional noise resulting from the rough seas. Please explain.
