Confused about Online Check-In; HELP!

I get inputting all my info, but what is confusing is the onboard credit card info. It only asks for the type of card (visa, mastercard, amex, etc.), the last four of the card number, and the expiration date. That seems very weird that it would only need the last four digits of the card....anyone know how that works? Will it still charge my card at the end of the cruise?

Any input would be great; I don't want there to be any errors and it mess anything up!

They only need the last 4 numbers during the online check in process (I know it is odd, I think it is just to confirm you want to use a card to set up your account), but you will have to provide them your actual credit card (the one you provided the last 4 digits from) during the actual check in at the ship so that they can get all the required information.

I'm not sure about your question relating to onboard credit?

When you arrive at the check-in desk at the dock you give them:

1-the printed AND SIGNED online Xpress Pass,

2-passport

3-credit card

4-medical question form (they will give you this at the port)

If you have all 4 of those filled out check in will only take a few minutes.
