Drinks onboard

I understand you can buy a soda pop drink card on board. Can you buy one for alcohol? Are these a good deal? Also, is alcohol or soda included with meals or is that extra as well? If you buy the card(s) can you or do you use those with meals? Thanks.

Soda cards can be used all day long for fountain sodas. In the traditional dinning room once your server knows you have one they won't ask to see it again. No such card for adult drinks.

No cards for alcohol but the "Bar Hoppers" card is fun. It's free-get one at any bar. It has a square for each bar on board. You purchase a drink at each bar and you card is stamped. When it's filled, you turn in it for either a t-shirt or ballcap. On the Coral there were 13 bars! Thank goodness the cruise was 10 days. :) It's a fun way to get all around the ship.

The drink prices on Princess ships are quite reasonable in my estimation compared to land-based bars although the wine list is over run with mediocre wines.
