Caribbean Princess 9/6/14 through 9/20/14?

We are sailing on Caribbean Princess for a back to back beginning on 9/20/14. Originally, the ship had been scheduled to do the short 4 & 5 day sailings all month, but then the "Pricing not available" showed up for a few days and then the sailings from September 6th through September 20th have now disappeared. When searching the website by Caribbean Princess for September, no other sailings show as taking the place of those that went away. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on with the Caribbean Princess during this timeframe?

Another thread is describing that the Ruby will be replacing the Golden on the South America itineraries and the CB will take over the itineraries that the Ruby was going to do.

 

Best to ask your Travel Agent (or Princess if you booked directly) what is happenening to your booking.

Our booking is fine and still scheduled. I'm just puzzled about what's going on with the ship before we get on it on the 20th.

 

I think that other thread you're referencing, regarding the Ruby being replaced by the Caribbean, is actually about the early part of 2015 not September 2014.

When I went onto the Princess website to look at the deck plans for the CB, there was a screen that asked me if I was looking for deck plans for a sailing before 9/6/14 or after 9/6/14. Could this be a new/unexpected dry dock?

So yet another change. Originally, for the period of 9/6/14 through 9/20/14, Princess had three short 4 or 5 day sailings planned. They pulled them and have now put in two 7 day sailings (western Caribbean) in their place.

 

It would seem like the short sailings must continue to not be selling well.

 

Oddly, the deck plans still indicate that there are two different sets of deck plans (one priod to 9/6/14 and one after 9/6/14. Not sure what's up with that.

 

At any rate, I've now figured out way is happening during the period of 9/6/14 through 9/20/14 and thought I'd share

I just compared the two different deck plans and there is no noticable difference between the two time periods. Maybe they are still working on the update. :confused:

We are Carl & Linda from Ft LDL and we just booked this cruise because of the good price offered. We haven't been to the Caribbean for a few years, so it's time to go again. Does anyone know if there is Meet & Greet scheduled?
