joek Posted February 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2014 Be sure to put your cellphone number on your bag ID tags. Someone took one of our bags from the pier after disembarking, (so many bags look alike). Security called the number on a bag that was left and reached the person and they had to come back to exchange bags.
WLHyatt Posted February 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2014 We have some cloth ribbon that has Arkansas Razorbacks on it and we tie it to all the handles of our luggage. That not only helps us locate our luggage when we get off the ship, but hopefully anyone else who would accidentally grab our bag would look and realize that it is not theirs. Never hurts to have plenty of ID and ways to get in touch.
Daisyloo Posted February 16, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2014 I always print out a paper with our pre-cruise hotel address and phone number with the date we are there, and the ship we will be on and sail date. I put our cell number on it as well. I put this paper in the outer unlocked zippered compartment on each of our cases. I figure if anyone finds them they would go through the pockets and find it.
