FOS - what toiletries are provided in the cabin?

I'm used to finding shampoo, body wash and a few other goodies on Carnival ships. Any idea what I can expect to find on the Freedom of the Seas next week? I like to pack light...

 

Also, how is the water in the cabin? Drinkable? Taste fine?

Royal's staterooms usually have a combo shampoo/conditioner in the shower, and bars of soap. Additionally, JS staterooms and higher have separate containers of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

Just bar of soap and a dispenser in the shower with, I think, shampoo and soap. I brought my own so I didn't use it.

 

No trial size "gifts" like we had last time on Carnival.

 

Everything else on the ship made up for that.

 

My husband said the water tasted fine.

The water is fine...but you WILL need ice! The water never, ever "runs cold" from the tap! All of the ice, drinks and food is made from the same water you get in your cabin! Chilled water is in dispensers in the WJ.

 

We bring the toiletries we need...RCI isn't as generous with that stuff as Carnival!
