BBsails Posted February 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2014 Oh where is the search function? I need it right this minute. No kidding. I thought I had saved a post from a week or so ago that listed all the best M Class cabins, class by class. I've tried hard to find that post by going back through all the posts to mid-January, but have not been successful. Can't find the information in a sticky either. There is a price drop on our Infinity cruise later this year, and I might like to upgrade. We're in a "Sweet 16" at the moment, which is fine, but I'd like to see if there's anything better available. If you happen to know how to locate that thread and post, please post here! Thanks a bunch. Betsy
BBsails Posted February 15, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted February 15, 2014 Figured I'd probably find it after posting, and that's exactly what happened. I'm reposting it here in case anyone else needs the information. If I recall correctly, this is what I was looking for: "This list is posted frequently in this forum, so this seems a good place to lock it down." Each of the following cabins on the Millennium Class ships (Millennium, Infinity, Constellation, Summit) has some particular benefit over its peers of the same class -- most often an oversized veranda, sometimes larger cabin or nicer decor. Not all of these differences are accurately reflected in any known deck plans. SS-6131,6132,6145,6146 CC-9043,9038,9201,9164,9162,9160 CC-8045,8046,8185,8176,8172,8170 CC-7203,7212,7208,7206 CC-6135,6136,6143,6144 2A-8161,8146,9173,9138 2B-7049,7080,7163,7166,7171,7173,7175,7177,7174,7176, 7178,7180 2C- 6016,6018,6020,6021,6022,6023,6024,6025,6026,6027, 6029,6030,6031,6033,6035,6053,6048 Since the Infinity, Constellation, Millenium & Summit are all the same configuration, these cabins will apply to your cruise. Rare May B Posted February 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2014 The only thing better than a Sweet 16, if you don't want Aqua Class, is an aft. I wouldn't take the top deck (9?). I think I was on deck 7, but deck 8 is good, also. Actually, deck 8's probably better b/c I think deck 7 was above the humongous suites with their humongous balconies and their guests who think no-smoking rules don't apply to them. The cabins I'm talking about our Concierge Class, C1, I believe. There are also two family verandah cabins on each deck which are quite lovely but I believe they only become available to a party of two near the sailing date. Have fun choosing! Rare Turtles06 Posted February 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2014 There are also two family verandah cabins on each deck which are quite lovely but I believe they only become available to a party of two near the sailing date. Have fun choosing! That's partially correct. There are two CORNER FVs on each deck (7, 8, and 9) with huge balconies, but there are also two FVs on each deck next to those corner cabins that have larger than normal balconies. The FVs become available to fewer than 5 people per cabin (if ever) whenever Celebrity decides to release them for booking by fewer than 5 (presumably when their projections indicate they are not going to get 5 people in them). On our TA last fall, this was many months prior to sailing. So if this is of interest to you, keep monitoring the available cabins, as the FVs can pop up for general booking at any time (and then they are usually snapped up).
