Explorer? Room on the hump decks 7 n 8....how is the view?

Thinking it would have a good angle on one side. My room is facing more aft so we would have a nice view as we pull away I think. Also close to the elevators. I know there is traffic but they have bigger areas by the door. Has anyone stayed in these rooms. What are your thoughts?

We stayed in 7318 a few years ago and loved it. Great location by the elevators (no extra space in the hallway, but very convenient, and no extra noise), and wonderful views forward and aft:

The hump areas is popular because of convenience of location. There is no size advantage on Voyager or Freedom class ship.

The elevators and stairs are in a foyer, so noise isn't an issue.

We LOVE this area!

We have stayed in various hump locations, most recently mid-hump, and on our upcoming cruise, post-hump. LOVE the location, and it's proximity to the elevators/stairs. I am very conscious of noise - promenade cabins don't work for me as the music from the promenade drives me nuts! No more noise in the hump cabins than from other cabins.
