Rare crewsweeper Posted February 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2014 2nd Cap BJ on the CayBrew. And staying out of Buffetburg. You can get it on tap at Da Fish Shack on Church Street. Where there's pretty decent fresh sea food. If you're traveling to other parts of the island, try Hermitage Kitchen in West Bay. Small light blue building near the 4 way stop on Boggy Sands. You eat outside on wooden tables. Or Vivinies on the East End. Out of her home with good fruit drinks and great traditional Cayman food. Or Eagle's Dive Bar. On 7MB, Sunset Café or Hemingways. Do stop at Bread and Chocolate on Dr Roy's Drive in Georgetown. Great bakery and it'll make you wish all vegans you know could cook this well. For drinks, Wreck Bar and Grill at Rum Point. Stingers or Fidel Murphy's on 7MB. Downtown you can try Hammerheads, it's an old style pub and sometimes a bit stogy on service and prices are inductive for consumption of mass quantities. bankofdad Posted February 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2014 Vote for Seymour's Jerk Shack!!! Right in Georgetown. Should be an easy walk wherever you tender in. If you like jerk, you'll like this establishment! Rustic, but to the point...great food!!

CDNJehn Posted February 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2014 Love all the suggestions so far. Our 2 week trip to Grand Cayman became a gastro-fest. So many memories in this post. Vivienne's, My Bar, Seymour's. I'd add a burger or fish tacos at Sunshine Grill @ Sunshine Suites. Soooooo good. We also loved Timbuctuu, but I recently heard it was closed. Another fave is Kaibo Beach Bar. Their crispy fish curry is amazing. Tukka's in the east end had a great jerk pork quesadilla... but unless you're renting a car you won't be anywhere near either. :( Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
luckiest1cruise Posted October 21, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 21, 2014 How far is Bread and Chocolate from the cruise pier? We are hoping to have some lunch there but will be limited for time after our tour.
