Transatlantic Sea Day Activities

Looking at a transatlantic on the Constellation. 10 sea days in total, which is a lot! I've been on Celebrity twice before, but never on a transatlantic. I was on Holland America only once, and that was a transatlantic. And there wasn't a whole lot to do on those 7 sea days.

I do enjoy sea days, as my pleasure on a cruise is as much for the time on the ship as the destinations. But 10 days (out of 16) is an awful lot of "down time".

Question -- does Celebrity have a decent amount of activities on transatlantic sea days? What kind of activities, and are they different/more varied than on a cruise with fewer sea days?

Thanks!

Many, many activities. I am never bored on a TA! There are enrichment lectures, art classes, workout classes, trivia events, computer classes, passenger choir (some ships), entertainment events during the day, movies, cooking demonstrations, the casino, wine tastings, an afternoon tea, etc., etc. plus there are the old throwbacks - napping, sitting in the sun, going to the spa, reading, and sipping a martini ;)

On our TA last April there was Zumba classes twice a day, a dance class where a routine was learnt & performed on stage at the end of the cruise. There was an egg drop competition, which was great fun. A boat building competition & also a choir.

Hope we have the same this April :D

Enjoy :)

Just a suggestion Maz_1. You might want to rearrange your countdown clocks so that they are not 4 across the page, as it prevents every post on the page harder to read because the script does not fit.

Thanks!
