Coastal Classic - Seward to Anchorage

I noticed that the train does not leave Seward until 6:00PM and arrives in Anchorage at 10:30PM. Will it be light enough to see all the sights? I am assuming that the sun sets late. This would be at the end of July through mid August (cruise date not set yet).

On August 15 the sun doesn’t set until 10pm, closer to 11pm the end of July. Even then the sun slowly dips below the horizon so there is a longer twilight timeframe. You’ll have plenty of light. The sunsets along Turnagain Arm where you will be traveling can be spectacular.
