michigyrl Posted February 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) I just booked a bargain for a pre-cruise stay at a hotel on Miami Beach. The website says it's about a 15 minute drive to the port of Miami. Anyone have any idea of the taxi fare from Miami Beach to the port of Miami? There's 2 of us. Or does anyone else have any recommendations for other transportation? Thanks! Edited February 21, 2014 by michigyrl

Miami Beach stretches about ten miles in length and with heavy traffic on Collins can make a huge difference. South of Fifth hotels would be around $20 with tip and North Beach would be closer to $45.
Capt_BJ Posted February 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2014 correction this site gives rates from airport to SB http://www.miami-airport.com/hotel_shuttles.asp flat rates range from $32 to $52 depending on area I'd expect the reverse path to be the same BUT call the hotel and ask unless they rent by the hour they should know . . eandj Posted February 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2014 Ask the hotel what normal and customary is. Use the cab not a shuttle service. I would guess the hotel will state what their "flat rate" is. 15 min. from where?
