liberty or sunshine for new years?

The only carnival ship we have ever been on is the dream (twice).....would you sail the liberty or the sunshine for new year's this year? Sunshine is 100/pp more and that's what we're currently booked on but thinking about changing.

I think it depends on which itinerary you like the best. We went on liberty for New Years this year. Loved the ports. The ship was nice. Service was lacking I think due to the crowds. It was a fun cruise but crowded, loud, and lots of rude people from a country that shall remain nameless. I prob. wouldn't do a New Years cruise again but a lot of people luv it! I think I'm getting too old. I just want quiet, casual and relaxed.

Liberty is the only Carnival ship that I've liked more than the Dream.

Liberty gets my vote just from the write ups I have been reading plus it is a smaller ship....I think.
