Ground transportation from Tampa Airport to Port of Tampa??

Hello-

 

Does anyone know how much a taxi or a shuttle from the airport to the port would be? Carnival offers a transefer for $20.00 but I have read you have to wait until the bus fills up and I dont want to be waiting around for an hour. Any advise would be appreciated!!!

There is a flat-rate taxi fare of $25 from TIA to the port of Tampa for up to 4 passengers. It will be the same flat-rate for the return as well.

Will a taxi be large enough for 2 adults, 2 kids and a good bit of luggage and stroller? Also, will there be taxis at the port on the day when we return or should I set up transportation ahead of time?

Minivan and SUV cabs are available for the same fare, and yes , there will be lots of cabs waiting when you finish your cruise. Cab drivers flock to cruise passengers like bees to honey!
