dritan Posted February 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Hi all. I booked my Jade cruise last Thursday via a well known US based TA. This was a first for me as I tend to use UK based internet companies. But we got a great price and $125 OBC. I noticed during the check in process that an OBC of $50 was showing on our My NCL vacation summary on the left hand and thought maybe it would update when the second passenger had completed check in. This has remained unchanged however. Does it sound like a mix up between the TA and NCL and should I therefore go back to the TA to sort out?? Thanks in advance. johnnypiano Posted February 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2014 The OBC on the NCL website does not include any OBC from your TA. That will show up once you board the ship.

Make sure you have it in writing as to what you are getting.

Does that mean I have a surprise 50dollars OBC. It wasn't mentioned at time of booking? Wonder if it was a US based offer directly from NCL as the UK site never has OBC deals? dritan Posted February 27, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Ask your TA for an amenities sheet. Make sure you have it in writing as to what you are getting. Hi. Yes we have the sheet which highlights $75 OBC against my name and 50$ OBC against my brothers name. Thanks.
Rare mizLORInj Posted February 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2014 OBC from your TA should show in "booked items"
hawkeyetlse Posted February 27, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Does that mean I have a surprise 50dollars OBC.Very doubtful. Your TA probably got you some $50 OBC deal from NCL and then added $75 out of their pocket. Bottom line for you: $125 credit, as your amenities report states. Will take a print of the amenities report with us. Many thanks everyone. Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Forums mobile app

Demonyte Posted February 28, 2014 #11 Share Posted February 28, 2014 FYI so you don't get slapped on the wrist by the moderators: There are no PMs on this board and also asking for the TA info here even by email etc is forbidden by CC rules. Thanks for the info. Had forgotten that myself. To the lady/gent from Hertfordshire, a search or two will hopefully come up trumps for you. Good luck and definitely worth doing. CasinoCruzGirl Posted March 3, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 3, 2014 You need to be very careful with onboard credit purchased prior to sailing. I have purchased $250 $50 increments over the last several months before my cruise once I go online to my NCL I find that two of my $50 purchases are missing. I requested that NCL send me my amenities sheet it is listed on that which I have printed out to show proof I just don't understand why it's missing in my and CL
