Family friendly budget friendly near intercontinental miami

Will be staying over march 15 pre cruise at the IC miami. Any one have any ideas for a budget and family friendly outing near here? Looking for dinner and leg stretching. Thank you!

There are several places to eat and lots of shops. It is walking distance from IC hotel.

Yes to Bayside. IT's a short 5 min. walk down the street, a great family friendly spot to spend time. LOTS of choices for food, small stores, some tours etc. Too in the morning you can go there for breakfast. Saves money from the hotel brkfst. I think it's the Cuban restaurnat that has big plates for reasonable. There are 2 or 3 that open before the actual mall stores open.

There's also a Mc D's nearby altho when I peeked in years ago, it was kind of depressing. Not sure if they have updated it.
