Booking excursions online with credit card vs booking onboard with SeaPass account?

We are sailing on the Independence of the Seas in April. When we booked the cruise, we received shipboard credit. So my question is, for shore excursions at Labadee, is there a major benefit for booking it online via the RCI website (and paying with my credit card)? I was hoping to use some of my onboard credit to pay for the excursions, so that would mean I would only be able to book them once onboard the ship...

Is the any reason NOT to wait until the ship to book?

We want to try the Zipline and the Coaster...

Thanks

Grant

If you want to use your OBC, you will have to wait until you are ONBOARD to book...hence, the ONBOARD credit!

On RCI, you pay when you book!

I see no reason why you couldn't wait until you're on the beach to book those things!
