Hotel advice needed in MIAMI

Wanting advice on hotel on South Beach post cruise. Have one day before flight back and want to stay on South beach in at least a 4 star hotel. Have looked at James Royal Palm, Sagamore, Loews hotel, Betsy hotel, or Fountainbleau. Leaning toward James Royal Palm due to free wifi and looks like we can walk to nearby Lincoln road mall and its on the beach. Does anyone have a preference? Thanks

I would go with The Betsy or The Loews. Don't let the oceanfront location fool you, the hotels across the street from the beach are no closer to the water than the oceanfront hotels. They often have better views because they are unobstructed.

 

You can walk to Lincoln Road from all of the hotels with the exception of the Fountainbleu. I would not stay at the James just for free WiFi but I have to admit I haven't been in the hotel since the Royal Palm was a Crown Plaza.

 

The only hotel I would rule out would be the Fountainbleu just because of the location.
