Alabama Jacks is on Card Sound Road, 13.5 miles southeast of Homestead

 

Card Sound Road, aka FL 905A is the alternate route to Key Largo running east of US1, and puts you on North Key Largo. AJ's is at the west side of a toll bridge from mainland to Key Largo, crossing Card Sound. Card Sound Road is well marked as a left turn just south of Florida City ... just as you begin the suicide run of US 1 to Key Largo. Card sound has been my preferred route since 1982. The toll bridge is CASH ONLY ... NO SUNPASS ... $1. But from mainland to AJ's you do not cross the bridge.

It's on the mainland side, not on Key Largo, therefore not considered the Keys.
