MDR breakfast

Recommended Posts

I have used the search (oh how i had missed it!:p) button but just want to confirm what I have found.

The MDR's breakfast menu is the same everyday, along with one day set aside as chocolate breakfast. Is this correct?

Why haven't I heard about this chocolate breakfast?

Usually held once per cruise, no sign up required or available, just show up to the MDR for breakfast. The MDR waiter will usually tell you about it the night before.

OMG!!! I am so glad I am reading these boards. Our first RCCL cruise is in 15 days on Explorer. I had never heard of the Chocolate Breakfast before.

Thanks.

On the Explorer, the Chocolate Breakfast is usually the last sea day.

It's included :D

You don't happen to have a picture of a regular breakfast menu, do you? :o

For those of you that have had the chocolate breakfast, what is your favorite? I honestly do not remember what I had.... Shocking considering how much I like chocolate. Lack of remembering tells me that I was not impressed and hope to find something yummy this time around. I mean seriously, how often do you ever eat CHOCOLATE  for breakfast?! :D

I wish this has been titled chocolate breakfast so more people would notice. In all my cruises, I've never heard of it. Has this always been, or is it something they have added with the new menus?

It's definitely not a new innovation.... trying to search my blogs for a reference (bit of a chocaholic....)

ETA I mention the chocolate breakfast in 2011 on Navigator.... I mention chocolate a lot in my blogs.... hmmmm

The chocolate breakfast is mentioned in the Compass, and on these boards.

Perhaps it's a reward to those who read the compass cover to cover! If I remember correctly our waiter also mentioned it the day before.

I always get the waffles and a chocolate milk shake. To cut the sweetness I usually order an egg on the side. The chocolate pastries are good too if you like pastries for breakfast.

About once a month at my house. Daddy's special chocolate pancakes are a big hit.

I also have dark chocolate with my morning coffee almost everyday for health reasons. It's quite good for you as long as you get the low sugar, high cocoa variety.

I love pastries. Wonder if I can order one of everything? :p I usually don't do that but I love chocolate and I mean LOVE.

Now I really can't wait for my cruise.
