We (me, dh(early 50s) dd (21 on Nassau stop) and niece (23) will be in Nassau on the breakaway 2 weeks from now. Looking for a day pass that we all will enjoy. Some fun for the girls and maybe a little quieter spot for me and dh. We plan to have a nice dinner later back on the ship.

Any ideas?

Hand's down, Breeze's all inclusive! About 4 years ago we took all of our 8 children (ages 21-29) they had a blast!!! All non motorized boating equipment included. you can check it out by looking it up on line or trip advisor.

Then if your ship stays in port until the following morning, go to Atlantis after dinner on the ship and dance and gamble a little (lots of fun) free drinks in the casino if you are gambling even if you just at the quarter machines (where the dance clubs are too) ! Now that is a 21st B-day to remember!!!!

Thanks for the recommendation. We are only there until 6. Stayed at Atlantis a year ago and enjoyed it. Looking for something different this time.

We are cruising to Nassau in about a week. WOO HOO!!!

We purchased the day pass for RIU Palace Resort. It was only $75 through island marketing. RIU is cheaper than Breezes. Absolutely get an all-inclusive package. Your DD will be 21 and can legally have as many alcoholic drinks that she can handle!!

Have fun

  • 2 weeks later...

We ended up at breezes. It was a nice way to spend the day. The resort was mostly spring breakers that were all nursing hangovers from the night before. By the time we left (4:00), they were starting to wake up lol

The cost was $65 pp and they did have wifi (slow, spotty service).

But worth the price.

The girls took out kayaks. I think they also had a few small sailboats. Didn't do the trapeze or rock wall(forgot closed toed shoes). We did see a girl attempt the trapeze. It looked hard.

As for food and drink. It was ok. We had a burger and fries at the outdoor spot. Then later found the buffet.

They were both just ok

The drinks seemed weak but tasty.

All in all I thought it was a good value.

The Melia/Sheraton on Cable Beach is a good place to spend the day.

Nice beach area and 3 pools and a whirlpool.

$30 for day pass -but no food included. We just eat a big breakfast on the ship and take snacks. There is a beach bar outside and also a snack bar inside the lobby.

The Sheraton is now the Melia- the exterior is the same but the interior redecorated.
