JJPacer Posted March 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2014 On the lower promenade, deck 2, on the Eurodam there is a room called the "King's Room" aft of the Explorer's lounge. We need a triple cabin, and the only triples available are on the Main Deck. Most of the Main deck is under public areas. We're looking for a quiet cabin on the Main deck. Any suggestions? Thanks JJ
Halfmoonfan Posted March 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2014 It is a small private dining room or function room. It is not a passenger cabin.

Thanks JJ How to choose the right cabin on the Eurodam & Nieuw Amsterdam? We have been in the "nosiest" part - under Queen's Lounge. Music was audible until midnight. But it was so subtle that did not cause any discomfort. We slept well. My choice would be internal cabins category J, not window cabins. The noise from above will diminish as you move from the Atrium forward. I would exclude cabins aft from the Atrium due to proximity to the engines. Krazy Kruizers Posted March 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2014 Interesting. I wonder if it has been changed from a private dining room to the Digital Work Shop? I know on the Nieuw Amsterdam that it has been.
Rare kazu Posted March 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2014 JJPacer - I agree with Halfmoonfan. The King's Room should not cause any noise issue for you if your cabin is underneath it :D
innlady1 Posted March 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2014 I'm pretty sure the King's Room is where the Microsoft Digital Workshop is located. They don't conduct classes at night and even when they do, the cabins below it should be quiet.
