Buying cigarettes on board

Going on the Serenade, DH wants to know cost of a carton of cig. on the ship? Thanks for any answers.

They do offers through the week, so don't always buy first day if you want the cheapest price. A 5 carton pack Marlboro (which DH smokes) is normally around $140 (best option if a few of you traveling together and split) Single packs run around $5 - $6 in bar (not cheap) my parents said they just got off Splendour and they had a super sale and got 2 cartons for around $50.

What amazed me 4 years ago when I was still a smoker, I purchased a carton of Virginia slims on board and the 10 paks in the carton were the traditional "boxes", but they did taste a little different when smoked, and they burned a lot quicker...........different paper.........I paid $22

 

I looked to see where they were made, and all it said was "Duty Free"

 

HMMMMMMMM

 

Wonder if they were made for the duty free scene.

My DH just bought a carton for $34.

Marbs are I believe $32 and Newports are $40. We bought my cousin back Newports and he said that they always taste a little different. Not in a bad way just in a diff way
