Have you ever experienced price drops/last minute bookings for cruises in May?

I'm just curious as to who has experienced price drops or cheap last minute bookings for cruises in May, specifically ones with Bahamian itineraries.

 

I am well aware that prices are always changing but I wanted to see if there was a trend.

In early January there were huge price drops on 5/25/2014, NOS out of Galveston to the Western Caribbean on Junior Suites and Balconies. They only lasted a day or two. Thanks to CC, we saw it and booked right away. Prices shot right back up and have stayed there even past final payment.

Some great deals/drops for May..

 

Grandeur leaving May 9th up to 40% off Interior staterooms (one is $799 down to $474),

Allure Balcony has a 26% drop

Explorer is around 2.5%

Oasis on the 10th around 5-7%

Moving foward in May

May 11th Allure has very little on sale.

 

There is a cool site that allow you to track the ships % occupancy and how their pricing is going.

Depends on the sailing. We are cruising in May to the Bahamas. There have been price reductions on our sailing. I checked today and saw the was a price drop. Was able to upgrade from a JS to a GS! Pays to check!
