Returning rental car at Heathrow

Can anyone advise if the rental car companies at Heathrow provide an type of free shuttle service to T5? If they do not, can anyone advise the best way to get to T5 after dropping off the rental car? Many thanks in advance for any and all assistance - BabySarge

Yes, the major companies are mostly based along the Bath Road, North of the airport, and shuttle customers to/from the terminals.

 

The one exception is that there is an Avis facility actually in the short–stay car park attached to T5, so you may want to check that out.

We rented from Thrifty Rent a Car and dropped off our car at the Heathrow Sheraton. There is a shuttle from the Sheraton to the air terminals.
