Punta Langosta taxi rates...

Going to need a taxi for 6 people from Punta Langosta to Nachi Cocum.

 

Been to Nachi 5 times from Puerto Maya pier and know it is $16 for up to four.

 

Found this great picture from Mitsugirly. (of course :D )

 

I tried zooming in on my computer and even using a magnifying glass, but couldn't quite make out the passenger/price breakdowns at the top.

 

Row 1 appears to be 1-4 passengers

Row 2 appears to be 5 passengers (why?!?!?!)

Row 3 appears to be 6-8 passengers

 

Which would mean Nachi is $17 for 1-4, $25 for 5 and $34 for 6-8.

 

Am I seeing that correct?

 

So it would be just as easy to get 2 cabs for 6, as 1 van for 6? (which makes zero sense to me)

 

Also are these the current taxi rates?

 

Just trying to make sure our group has their funds lined up for the day.

They seem to be current rates. This is what I always carry as a guide which is easier to read but seems to be as you have already found out. Second chart is slightly better rates in pesos which is what we use from land visits but probably not worth bothering about for the day.
