gfd_2 Posted March 13, 2014 #27 Share Posted March 13, 2014 10 night out of Puerto Rico on a Radiance class ship. Hit up (in no particular order) Aruba, Barbados, Tortola, St, Kitts, St. Thomas, St Maarten, Antigua and Curacao. Grab a taxi at the pier and head out for a 9a to 4p day at a secluded beach with chairs and umbrella for twenty bucks - must have a small bar and restaurant that has great food and cocktails for decent price. Days at sea - have two loungers on the starboard side of the ship - sun in the a.m. and shade after noon. Chair hog patrol to enforce the 30 minute rule. Top drink package included or be able to buy wine/ vodka and cranberry juice on board for pre-dinner cocktails. Wine cooler and glasses in room for to relax with after the post dinner activities. Free WiFi so I can send pics home to make folks jealous. :D No rain.

LetsGetWet! Posted March 13, 2014 #31 Share Posted March 13, 2014 Let me know what room you're taking on this so I can plan around you ... I really love any itinerary that adds Barbados out of FL. I HATE flying to San Juan! I admit I'm curious, why? We like the southern Caribbean cruises out of San Juan in the wintertime, as they're much more "tropical" for the entire cruise than departing/returning to Florida. For us, once you get on the plane and take your seat, whether its a non-stop to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, or a non-stop to San Juan - makes very little difference! For us, once you get on the plane and take your seat, whether its a non-stop to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, or a non-stop to San Juan - makes very little difference! But many who have non-stops to Ft. Lauderdale do not have them to San Juan. The connections can be less than optimal in some cases. Airfares into San Juan can also be significantly higher for most. It all plays a part
