Anything else besides plane watching at Moho?

In just a few short weeks, we will be on the lovely island of St. Thomas :). And I CANNOT wait! We are planning on going to Moho beach, so the kids can see the planes. But was wondering, if there was anything else to do around there, shopping or other sight seeing? Or maybe another beach close by. Will be traveling with 4 kids ages 17-8. Any help or suggestions, would be appreciated.

Maho Bay near the airport where people go to watch the planes is on St Martin, not St. Thomas. The bar is fun, but there's not much to the beach. The water us rough with a pretty big drop into deep water pretty close to shore.

Sunset Beach Bar for expensive drinks and there are shops nearby.

LOL! Just realized I got my Islands mixes up:o. So maybe we should start off at Mullet for a beach day & then head over to Moho..thanks!
