How late to leave it to book Volendam May 7

We know we definitely want this cruise, on this day, no preference on cabin. As much as we'd like a balcony, the price is almost TRIPLE per person for what the cheapest inside is.

 

So, just how late should we leave it to book. It goes on 7th May, can I expect to see any significant price drop since then. I've been watching prices daily for the past 2-3 weeks since booking our flights to Canada and nothing much has happened price wise.

Alaskan cruises are very popular.

And May is one of the cheaper months.

I doubt if you will see significant prices drops.

I would book by the first of April to ensure that you get a cabin.

In the mean time keep doing "dummy" bookings to keep track of the number of cabins left. It takes a while to do this -- but if you see cabins going quickly -- you will know that you have to book soon to ensure that you get a cabin.

Thanks, yes, I've been checking on HA each day to keep an eye on availability.

If HAL has been selling a lot of guaranteed cabins, availability may not be what you think it is.
