Roxxy Posted March 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2014 I am looking at booking a private Catamaran excursion through Island Marketing… They say boarding time is 11:30 a.m. LOCAL TIME. We are in port on the Sunshine from 11:00 - 7:00. Does anybody know if in December there is a time difference?

On the Royal Princess, the captain changed the ship time to match the local time. A Friend who sailed two weeks before us, on a Carnival ship, the captain kept the time set to Florida (eastern time). Which was an hour different for them. Made catching their excursion weird as they were off an hour.
O2B@Cagain Posted March 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2014 The USVI does not participate in daylight saving time. Atlantic Standard is one hour later than Eastern Standard, the same time as Eastern Daylight.
