I would like to take my 16 and 17 yr. old boys to Alaska. The pearl has a good price but the reviews seem not so favorable. Can someone tell me if there are things to do for teens onboard. They will not go to a kids club, They are a couple of shy farm boys. Is there movies onboard? Any opinions would be helpful.

I took my 16 year old son on the Pearl last year. He went to the teen club the first night and made friends and I hardly saw him the rest of the cruise. When we got back he rated the cruise an 11. He never complained about being bored. He is also a very shy kid from Montana.

The Pearl has a rock wall and a bowling alley. I believe the bowling costs though.

Alaska is a port intensive cruise, so they will busy most days. On our last 2 Alaskan cruises (neither on the Pearl though), there were lots of teenagers and they all seemed to be having a great time.
