Rare kernow Posted March 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2014 A month or 2 ago I remember reading a thread about people being refused to book a D1 for only 2 passengers when it would hold more. I can't find the thread now. The reason I'm interested is that I currently have on hold and am about to book an aft D1 7634 on Splendour for the April 2015 TA from Brazil to Barcelona. I'm booking direct with RCL UK who assure me that they can book it for only 2 of us. My worry is with 13 months to go we may be bumped particularly as the UK office is closing at the end of April and we will have to deal with Guatemala. Does anyone know the current policy, if they move us will they tell us first. I would hate to be moved to a completely different location without knowing about it. cruizers Posted March 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2014 I am not sure of the current policy; however, I would suggest checking your reservation. We were recently moved from our cabin with no knowledge. I only found out because I logged on to my reservation to add shore excursions and saw the move. Otherwise, it would have been a surprise when we got to the port. Enjoy your cruise!
nolimits Posted March 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2014 If new policy is in effect ,With current 3rdand4th pass free promo ,book fictitious third party may cost extra tax and port fees but then no worries.I believe 100$ or so. 13 months is a long time.
