Best way to take 10 people from Ships to a Beach?

We have 2 families going together in a few weeks, and there are a total of 10 of us. 4 adults, and 6 kids.

 

We would like to find a beach that is relatively easy to get to, without having to take expensive transportation, or without having to use one of the ship's official excursions.

 

I've heard of the Dollar Taxis, but I don't have any idea where we can pick those up.

 

The official taxis, We would be looking at a pretty sizeable fare - Even for the closest beach (Emerald), It's going to be something like $40 one way for all of us.

 

 

Are there any beaches within walking distance?

There are two docks: Havensight (West Indian Dock) and Crown Bay. You could walk to Lindbergh Bay from Crown Bay. There are no beaches in walking distance form Havensight.

The closest beach to Havensight is actually Morning Star. Taxis ARE expensive, no way around that one, sorry!:o

 

You could all get in one safari, but you would still get charged per person.
