Steamers and Blow Dryers on Reflection

I know you can't bring a steamer on Reflection. I just bought a new powerful blow dryer and I have experimented "blowing" out wrinkles on my clothes. It seems this may work for slight wrinkles. Has anyone used this method on the cruise and has it worked for you?

I've used my curling iron for small wrinkles and it works fine. I also bring along a spray top for a bottle and just screw it onto an empty water bottle which I fill with hot water. Spray the wrinkled garment and hang in the bathroom or in the room. The wrinkles will usually fall right out. I had a pashima that was quite wrinkled and hung it from a pant hanger and sprayed. It was wrinkle free! Easy! Try it. I'm sure the heat from the hair dryer will do the same thing.

I've done this in the past, though it's really only practical for a smaller garment or for an isolated crease or two. I hang the item on a hanger, dampen the area slightly by rubbing it with a damp wash cloth, then use the hair dryer on it for a few minutes. Once with a silk blouse that I didn't want to risk spotting with water, I just used the heat and it worked pretty well.

Just hang creased garments in the bathroom and send your husband to have a very long, hot shower whilst you complete the unpacking without unwanted interfer.. ops, sorry, help. Two birds, one stone.

I used a damp washcloth and my hairdryer on a very wrinkled satin gown on our December 2013 Silhouette cruise and it worked perfectly!
