Where to buy wine near FLL Sleep Inn?

Just realized that the Publix across the street does not have a liquor department. Does Walgreens sell wine? Or is there another place that is close that does? I google mapped liquor store and nothing looked walkable...

If you are referring to the Sleep Inn in Dania Beach we stayed there in December and the Walgreens that is next door did have a wine section.

 

Are you sure that the Publix grocery store didn't have wine. We stopped in there in December to get pop and water and I could have sworn that they had a liquor section

We've stayed several times at the Dania Beach Sleep Inn. Walk to Publix and buy wine.

We stayed there this past February and also were able to buy some wine at Publix. Also got some wine and beer for our 2 nights at the hotel.

Hi, there was a big selection of wine when we were there in Dec 2012.

 

I wrote about it in my review of Sleep Inn from our stay there :

 

"Right next to the shopping area is a large supermarket Publix ( tel 954-926-6226) with a good selection of wines, beer. "

 

I guess you may call them and asked if anything changed and if they have your choice of wine.

Thank you guys!!! I was trying to figure out the liquor department's hours, so I did a search on Publix's web page for stores that had a liquor department, and this one did not come up. Guess I should have just picked up the phone and called! Thanks again...you made me a happy wine drinker!

Just realized my mistake...beer and wine are not considered liquor. :o)
