crimlawwpb Posted March 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2014 Are there stateroom refrigerators on the Freedom of the Seas? And, if so, will they keep milk for the kids cold, or are they merely cool? We have two connecting Deluxe staterooms with balconies, if that matters. We would like to keep some milk in the room for bedtime and middle of the night if needed. Thanks in advance!

Coolers in all staterooms. They keep things cool, not cold, and are filled with things to purchase. Best bet it to bring a collapsible cooler and have the stateroom attendant keep it filled with ice. cb at sea Posted March 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2014 The are "dorm cubes"...if they are in a cabinet, keep the cabinet door ajar...they cool just fine! They are not FREEZERS....they don't make ice, but they will keep things cold, if they have airflow! Inside the cabinet, they don't get alot of air...keep the cabinet door open, if possible! It will keep milk fine for a day!
gcvt Posted March 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2014 As said above, if you keep the cabinet door open for ventilation they work well. Should work just fine for milk. You can even keep ice in them if you borrow one of the nice insulated wine bottle ice buckets from the dining room.
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted March 19, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2014 You can ask your room steward to empty the contents for you so that you can put your own items in. They are usually stored in one of the cupboards above / around the dresser.
