Sydney places to stay?

We are doing back to backs NZ/AUS with 4 nights between in Sydney. Can anyone advise best hotel or B&B near cruise port in Sydney? I understand the dock to be used in Sydney will be White Bay Cruise Terminal.

Any sightseeing advice appreciated as well. Our first time to that region.

Any reason you want to stay close to the cruise port? Since you are going to be there 4 days, I'd choose accommodations in a more centrally-located part of town--the CBD, Circular Quay or The Rocks.

 

It would help to know what your budget for accommodations are. If you don't have to have an ensuite room, I can highly recommend the Sydney Harbour B&B which is located in The Rocks--a great location right next to Circular Quay.

 

For suggestions on things to do in Sydney, I recommend you just pick up a guidebook at any local bookstore or library. You will find ideas of more things to see and do than you will have time for. I've been to Sydney many times and it's a fabulous city!

I recomend Adge Apatment Hotel the stuff is very helpful, the beds are comfortable and good location.
