Underwatr Posted May 16, 2014 #26 Share Posted May 16, 2014 Nothing wrong with 12 bottles for ~2 weeks. Now, if it were for a short break... :)
Salacia Posted May 16, 2014 #27 Share Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) Thanks, that changes the equation somewhat, still wouldn't bring on a case of wine though.:D Just my personal opinion, but I think that's a smart move. With all this chatter about rules not being enforced, while at the same time the limits are being enforced on other CCL ships, it's only a matter of time before the policy enforcement changes on board Cunard ships. fantasy51 Posted May 16, 2014 #29 Share Posted May 16, 2014 If you really want to avoid corkage fee, and only want one glass at dinner, then pinch a glass from one of the bars, fill it up in your room before you leave, and carry it into the restaurant. They can't tell if you filled it yourself or bought it from a bar while waiting for the restaurant to open. (So speaks the non-drinker!)
Olliesmum Posted May 16, 2014 #30 Share Posted May 16, 2014 They sell the draught on board But it works out at eighty cents a bottle if you bring your own!!
corporate services Posted May 20, 2014 #31 Share Posted May 20, 2014 We have only taken wine (champagne) into the MDR once, to breakfast on Christmas morning and we weren't charged corkage.
