StLucia Posted March 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) Can you let me know do any of the balcony cabins on Royal Princess have larger balconies, half in sun half out? Thanks for you help. Edited March 23, 2014 by StLucia
hehny Posted March 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2014 There are angled balconies that are larger than standard, but I am unaware if any of them are consistently shaded.
StLucia Posted March 23, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted March 23, 2014 We are thinking of booking the new P&O ship that is the same design as Royal. I read on the boards that there may be deck of standard balcony cabins that have large balconies like the C deck on some of the other ships? Pam in CA Posted March 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) Can you let me know do any of the balcony cabins on Royal Princess have larger balconies, half in sun half out? Thanks for you help. Nothing like the Caribe deck on the Grand class ships. We are thinking of booking the new P&O ship that is the same design as Royal. I read on the boards that there may be deck of standard balcony cabins that have large balconies like the C deck on some of the other ships? Not on the Royal or Regal and since the new P&O ships are so similar, I would guess as well. Just take a look at the ship's photo and if the side of the ship is tiered, not all balconies are covered. If the side of the ship is straight, they are all covered. Even with a covered balcony, you'll have sun during the day (as long as it's sunny outside and it's daytime.) StLucia Posted March 23, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Thank you for the advice, those large balconies are really nice. Unfortunately as the ship is still under construction I can' t look at a photo, unless you have one of Royal?
martij6 Posted March 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 23, 2014 There is an excellent collection of photos on Dave's (dmwnc1959) review thread that you may find interesting/helpful. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1961004 Joel
