Dolphins Posted July 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2005 Has anyone taken the ship's excursion "Bicycling Adventure to Montmorency Falls?" Did you like it? Was it very strenuous?
Host Caroline Posted July 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2005 Never did any biking to the falls but the road along the river is fairly level .. if they take the "upper route" that ends up at the top, rather than the bottom of the falls (which I have not been to in over 10 years - the "top route") it would be more strenuous... the lower road is very heavily travelled so my guess is they go the other way??? AlainBob Posted August 5, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2005 Hi Dolphins ! I live in Quebec city, near the Montmorency falls (less than 5 min by car) and my wife and I regularly ride our bike from the falls to the port and back. This trail is fairly flat and it usualy take us 45 min to an hour on one way. It can be considered as an easy ride. Once you will be at the falls, you can take the cable car to go to the top of the falls. Here is a link to the official web site of the Montmorency falls. And here is a link to "la route verte" (translation "the green road"), the official web site for cyclers in Quebec... Hope this help ! Alain R.
