May 9th-Southampton

Ok we return from our cruise on 9th May.
Reading the Cunard board the 3 queens will be in at Southampton that day.
Silly question probably, do you think there will be problems at disembarkation:rolleyes:
In a way it would be a shame not to see them all sail out, but I will have tons and tons and tons of washing to do, so would like to get home asap.
Also have I been reading about roadworks outside the port causing major delays to people arriving/leaving the port. Is that correct.:confused:

There are major roadworks outside Dock Gate 4 which will cause you delays in getting off the car park but does not affect other dock gates.

Although there are roadworks near dock gate 4 that need some guesswork on where to go because signposts are a bit vague, we had no delays in accessing the CPS car parking at Ocean terminal on embarkation nor leaving the terminal on disembarkation earlier this month. However, we were the only ship in port on disembarkation so it may be more difficult if several ships are in.

There are four ships in on 9th May.
Queen Elizabeth is at QEII.
Queen Mary 2 is at Ocean.
Passengers from both these have to exit through Gate 4 which is where the roadworks are.
Queen Victoria is at City.
Arcadia is at Mayflower.
