I know it's a private entrance, but it looks so unremarkable and unnoticeable, which I suppose is the point. I imagine finding it will be no problem after the first couple of times...I'm glad we have a week!
virginia beach girl Posted October 27, 2015 #5555 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Two days ago I had the chance to take 55 nice shots from the Have including two show cabins.Enjoy them here: http://www.depping-design.de/test/thumbnails.php?album=346 AWESOME photos, absolutely beautiful! So excited to finally see the room I booked a year ago, #17100. Thank you so much for posting!
cjjohns1001 Posted October 27, 2015 #5556 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Was anyone able to get a photo of a regular aft balcony room (B1)? we are booked in 12910 leaving Dec 26th and so far I have only seen the Haven Suites with aft balconies. Thanks in advance!
jssmith76 Posted October 27, 2015 #5557 Share Posted October 27, 2015 The requests: 15844 and 14198 seem to have the door on the left side of the shared entrance in the hallway so that would be bathroom on the left and I guess bed by the door? 11710, our balcony room, has also the left door and ditto setup if I go by that. Thank you sooooo much for this info. It's more that I thought was possible. I truly hope you enjoyed your time on the ship. I know we will enjoy it in mid January! Again, thanks so much for all of your help and pictures!
Andreas Depping Posted October 27, 2015 #5558 Share Posted October 27, 2015 I just created a set of 25 high quality photos from Guppies Nursery and Splash Acdemy on Deck 5 of Norwegian Escape. Particularly for parents with babies or young children this "parent free zone" might be interesting- http://www.depping-design.de/test/thumbnails.php?album=
champagne lover Posted October 27, 2015 #5559 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Loving all these photo, thanks to so many of you. A couple of questions - firstly we have booked a regular balcony cabin (13738), is the bed towards the window or the small sofa? Would love to kow if bed was to the elft or right when you go in but I know that may be difficult to find out. And also, can anyone tell me how internet reception is - we have already booked unlimited and are hoping to be able to use it in our cabin on ipad. Thanks everyone, can't wait for just over 2 weeks ! 6MonthsHere6MonthsThere Posted October 27, 2015 #5560 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Anyone know if there is a central point when you board to adjust restaurant reservations made online or do you have to visit each restaurant individually, thanking in anticipation. Rare steamboats Posted October 27, 2015 #5564 Share Posted October 27, 2015 DH has finished his report about the Escape. The text is in German but you can use google translate. He´s focusing on the differences between Escape and Getaway. Two videos are included (Aqua Racer and Ropes Course - BTW I´m the one in the purple jacket). On the last page he has added his 360° panorama photos (you can "navigate" through the room). And I found this 9 min plus showing the departure and fireworks last Friday. steamboats
Mooguy Posted October 27, 2015 #5565 Share Posted October 27, 2015 RCL has a similar pub concept with a pretty diverse beer selection and they are frequently empty. The same can be said for RCL's Vintages wine bars, which I believe are being phased out. The District and the Mondavi joints on Escape are roughly the same concept. It will be interesting to see where the crowds end up on NCL's iteration and if they are as popular as they have potential to be. I have seen the pub quite crowded on RCI a lot of times depending on the entertainment offered. I don't recall as many draught beers available in the RCI pubs either. Vintages on the other hand seems to always have a few people coming going throughout the evening.

FreestyleNovice Posted October 27, 2015 Author #5567 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Thank you so much! Did it have a sofa bed as well with the curtain divider? Yep, sleeps 4. When you walk in: bathroom right, left a "garage" cave like place for the sofa bed and lots of space, forward the single porthole, a table with two comfy chairs in the middle, bed to the left, wardrobe left of the porthole under the slope. If it makes any sense. Spacious room and would def. pick this one over sideways OV.

I am a little bit confused as to the exact location of the door to the Haven on Deck 16. Does the sliding door in the picture have direct access to the pool or to the side of the ship. I am trying to figure out how to get to the spa suites and Haven from the pool deck since the elevators are right in front of the pool and it is a very crowded area. They wouldn't allow me to take my GoPro down the one slide on Getaway that you stand in and wait for the floor to open. That was in February 2014. SullytheBFG Posted October 27, 2015 #5574 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Just got back home from the 2 day from Hamburg, I can only compare this ship to the Epic. The Escape is fantastic so well laid out, different bars with different ambiance we had a lot of fun and now slightly exhausted!! I don't have many photos but can answer questions if I can. We were in 9320 which is an aft facing balcony. We were sharing it with my 70 year old mum so had it set up as twins and the sofa being made up each night. Mum is in a wheelchair however her goal seemed to get us to whiz her round the ship to see as much as possible. Visited....
