vp1228 Posted November 19, 2015 #6426 Share Posted November 19, 2015 That would be a no. My Haven friend was told to go to the back entrance to be seated. However the staff made him go to the back of the line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bucade Posted November 19, 2015 #6427 Share Posted November 19, 2015 I understand that having a Haven cabin gets you certain perks and seeing as how you paid a hefty price, you should but I don't think it would be right for Haven cruise mates to get special priority in a "complementary" venue. IMO Agreed - while Adrian can work magic, there nothing that can be done in a place with no reservations or assigned seats.

BeachRum Posted November 19, 2015 #6432 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Anybody else think this boat is pitching and rolling way too much? That's not the ship. It's my belt, pinching and rolling. The UDP doesn't help.

torgotom Posted November 19, 2015 #6435 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Also of the Bake Shop please? The gelato was superb and only $2, but they only serve one small size. Just enough for a guilty pleasure. Bake Shop prices. I recall, range from $2-$5 per treat.
sjbdtz Posted November 19, 2015 #6436 Share Posted November 19, 2015 I was Hot, and got $75 worth of food credit on Escape, which was great. Any idea how much Golden would get? I'm almost there. $100 food credit & $150 Spa credit As VIP I also got a bottle of wine in October. I wonder how or if that will change with the monetary comp rather than the coupon. I guess I'll find out In January. Harriet There were 7 bottles of wine, sparkling & prosecco in our room on embarkation day. I'm not entirely sure where they came from....but there's no longer a "dinner" from the casino, it's now a food credit against anything you spend in a restaurant. Stephen . vp1228 Posted November 20, 2015 #6438 Share Posted November 20, 2015 You can get a little bigger scoop of Gelato with a waffle cone for $2.75. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Peripatos Posted November 20, 2015 #6439 Share Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) You said you're VIP at the Casino....so you also had $200 worth of Food Credit. Hopefully you were aware of that, too. For the cover charges & quite a bit of a la carte food, it would completely cover a 6 day cruise (assuming the other day is covered by Platinum). It's very useful. And $300 of spa credit. Stephen . . No, not VIP although friend that sailed with us is casino VIP & I see I hadn't updated signature maybe that is the confusion. Two or 3 years ago was VIP but then they eliminated most of the benefits (the Haven type VIP things - special lunch and breakfast, vip seating at shows, full concierge service on and off the ship & tenders, free transportation to/from ship, cigars, etc.) Edited November 20, 2015 by Peripatos
WhenIsOurNextCruise Posted November 20, 2015 #6440 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Could you tell him what you want and have it delivered to your room? That would be a request for your butler and I'm certain he or she could handle for you.

laurabegorrah Posted November 20, 2015 #6444 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Could you tell him what you want and have it delivered to your room? Your butler could - but only from certain venues and room service. I don't think they would deliver Margaritaville burgers unfortunately...it would totally rock if they could though! lol

numberguy Posted November 20, 2015 #6447 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Wait. I'm confused. Did someone say they are charging for food at Margaritaville now? Some people have stated that some staff have said they might charge for the burger at Margaritaville ($4.95) as a way to try to lessen the lines at the restaurant, but nothing definitive has happened yet. --Michael
Zena2005 Posted November 20, 2015 #6448 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Not sure how many Parrot Heads realize this but on December 8th, 2015 there will be a Margaritaville opening on Paradise Island in Nassau. If the one on the ship can't get their act together, here is your alternative. And quite honestly, it may be a better option. If the Escape can't get it figured out by May when we cruise, I know which Margaritaville I'll be at....
