Juneau - Taku Lodge flightseeing in early May

We are looking at taking a flightseeing excursion in Juneau to the Taku Lodge the first week in May. I have seen great reviews of this excursion, but am worried that it might be too early in the season for it (like snow on the ground or ?). Its a pricey excursion, so I want to be sure before we book.

 

Any comments or advice?

Hi,

 

We did the Taku trip in the 3rd week of May. I don't recall any snow on the ground at the lodge. It was a beautiful trip and one we would definitely repeat.

The first week of May, I believe I have responded elsewhere, likely will have snow and mud on the ground.

 

Two weeks later in May, much less snow.

We are doing this excursion third week in May. We have heard a lot of great things about it!
