DaveOKC Posted March 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2014 We are looking at taking a flightseeing excursion in Juneau to the Taku Lodge the first week in May. I have seen great reviews of this excursion, but am worried that it might be too early in the season for it (like snow on the ground or ?). Its a pricey excursion, so I want to be sure before we book. Any comments or advice? DaveOKC
rwams Posted March 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Dave I was wondering the same as I will be there the 3rd week of May. Is it still to early? Rick
mrsraggy Posted March 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Hi, We did the Taku trip in the 3rd week of May. I don't recall any snow on the ground at the lodge. It was a beautiful trip and one we would definitely repeat. Karin

Two weeks later in May, much less snow.
